Art Concrete: Overview of the Site

Concrete seems like an unlikely material for small-scale artwork, but it is ideal. It is inexpensive, readily available, and when made correctly, is hard and durable, both indoors and out. This web site has information on materials, processes and sources for the artist, a guest gallery showing the wide range of techniques and attitudes that concrete can express, my own concrete sculpture and jewellery, and information on my book.

The original ideas for this web site came from a long term project involving ideas about preciousness and material and has now grown to include 125 pages (a large number dealing with techniques) and over 300 images. The original project is now archived in the personal section of this site.
