Solo Exhibition,
Leo Kamen Gallery, Toronto

These drawings on mylar are based on the child's game of "hide and seek." My childhood memories of this game and the feelings it evoked resurfaced while playing it with my daughter. As with all childhood games, this one resonates on different levels. It's psychological, spiritual, and political parallels are many. My drawing process, which includes obscuring and disclosing images, is kindred to the experience of hide and seek. It is hoped that the viewing experience is also open ended, where things are revealed and hidden and revealed again.
