ART TOWN 2009

Art Town is an artists' collective in the City of Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada, promoting the work of over 20 professional artists and craftspeople since 2000. In 2008, we initiated a project called THIRD THURSDAYS, where studios and galleries around the City of Owen Sound were the third Thursday evening of each month, May through September.

At the present time, Art Town has no plans for 2009. More details will be made available on the event page.

Owen Sound is a small city but we have a large number of artists and craftspeople who either live in town or have their studios here. The Art Town Collective puts on special events during the year, for visitors to meet the artists personally and view their recent work in such media as drawings, watercolour, oil and acrylic paintings, marquetry, jewellery, clay, sculpture, knitting, pastels and wood carving.

On this web site you will be able to read about the individual artists and the event schedule, or read about what Art Town is. We also have a map of this years Third Thursdays events.
